Carolina Red MOP Barbecue Sauce

This traditional southern Carolina Red Barbecue Sauce was created from a century old family recipe. The term "MOP sauce" is derived from the beginning of American barbecue sauces. Back in the 1700's, this sauce recipe was mopped onto the roasting pig to offer both moisture and flavor.  It is derived from a stardard Eastern Carolina trtaditional BBQ sauces.
